Advanced Schema Therapist & BABCP-Accredited CBT Therapist in Northwich

Helping people break long-standing emotional patterns with warmth, compassion and evidence-based therapy
If you’ve tried therapy before and still feel stuck, you’re not alone. I specialise in schema therapy for deep-rooted emotional patterns, alongside CBT and compassion-focused approaches to support lasting change for people in and around Northwich and Cheshire.
As an accredited advanced Schema Therapist trained to ISST standards, I work with deeply rooted emotional patterns and coping modes. While CBT can be helpful for managing symptoms, Schema Therapy focuses on lasting emotional change.
Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in the same emotional or relationship patterns, even after trying CBT or other approaches. As an ISST-accredited Advanced Schema Therapist and BABCP-accredited CBT therapist, I specialise in schema-focused therapy to help you understand and change deeply rooted patterns linked to early experiences, unmet needs and long-standing beliefs about yourself and others.
While CBT can be very effective for managing current symptoms and developing practical coping strategies, schema therapy works at a deeper emotional level. I also draw on Compassion-Focused Therapy, particularly where shame, self-criticism or emotional avoidance are present, to support change with warmth, safety and understanding rather than pressure or self-blame.
I provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy in Northwich for adults seeking help with anxiety, OCD, trauma, low mood, or long-standing emotional patterns that often have roots in earlier life experiences.
I offer face-to-face therapy in Northwich, supporting people in Winsford, Middlewich and across Cheshire, as well as online therapy across the UK
